Votum is a watch brand from Biel, Switzerland producing exquisite mechanical timepieces since 1962.
The brand was at its peak in the 60’s when the cosmopolitan city of Biel, confirmed its positioning amongst the most influential cities in the Watchmaking Industry.
The already flourishing Watch Metropolis, paved the way to further expansions in the Watch Manufacturing Industry, granting the essential access to the desired know-how required to produce unique state of the art jewellery watches.
In the beginning of 70’s following the reorganization of the company and the relocation to Hamburg, Germany, the watch brand reaches another milestone with its shear wonderers of mathematical innovation harmoniously incorporated into modern timepieces.
The Brand’s distinctive design approach returned to its core with its homecoming in the late 90’s.
The unpredictable retreat of the brand into oblivion inspire award winning watchmaker Francois Zahnd to collaborate with graphic designer Rolf Bodmer in pursuance of the renaissance of Votum Watch brand ensuring a new landmark in the brand’s history.
