Founded in Zurich, Switzerland in 1987, Option has become one of the world's leading professional model management agencies. Under the direction of Ursula Knecht, Option represents many of fashion's most successful female and male models and has discovered and developed some of the modelling industry's brightest stars like Patricia Schmid and Nadine Strittmatter, who have graced the covers of French Vogue and ID Magazine along with major campaigns for Shisheido, Hugo Boss, Beldona, Feldpausch and Pinko.

Centrally located to major European fashion markets, like Paris, Milan and London, Option represents models from the four corners of the globe.

In multi-cultural Switzerland there are countless interesting new faces waiting to be discovered, which is why Option Model Agency also hosts the yearly Elite Model Look in Zürich. The Swiss Finalists are able to attend the prestigious Elite Model Look World, where many talents like Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Gisele Bündchen have been discovered. Amongst recent winners of the Swiss Final is Noreen Carmody who is making her mark in the international Fashion Industry with a cover of Italian Vogue and Elle along with various campaigns for Topshop, Moschino, Trussardi and recently D&G with Mario Testino.

Option is also celebrating Julia Saner, winner of the Elite Model Look World Final 2009! Julia won against 75 contestants from all around the world, a very promising career lies ahead!
