Chef Jessica says “I want to elevate the art of the cocktail party in Sydney and Melbourne to the status that it has in Paris, London and New York, and challenge people’s preconceptions of what finger food can be.

She is a co-owner of Allsuburbs Catering, has catered for parties of up to 1,000 guests and knows from experience that spectacular canapés can break the ice and get a party off to a roaring start. Designed to be eaten with one hand while the other is holding a glass, they can transform a party from mundane to memorable. “Their very reason for existence is to let people drink, chat and mingle.”

“Having prepared hundreds of thousands of canapés. I believe there is no other food that’s as aesthetically or conceptually beautiful as a perfect canapé,” she says. “You literally only get one bite to impress people, and all the flavours and textures need to work in that one mouthful.”

“I’m obsessed with building the perfect canapé list, and to do that, I need to specialise and focus only on finger food.” She chose the name, Mr Fingerfood as her dad led her towards a gourmet range with him helping source and prepare over 250 varieties conjures images of tiny treats so toothsome you want to gulp them down, yet also suggests an unquenchable appetite for adventure. Mr Fingerfood small but perfectly formed morsels can be enjoyed with full chef, waiter and bar service or delivered to your home or venue in Mr finger foods purpose-designed boxes – so you can arrange them on your own platters. “We aim to take all the stress out of throwing a party, so you can relax and focus on being fabulous.”
